The Cheese of El Valle de Almodóvar started up in 1980 with a small-scale craft production. The acceptance of their product led to the construction in 1982 of a factory in Almodóvar del Campo (Ciudad Real, Spain). Almost 30 years later the factory´s installations cover 12000 square meters where they produce their tasty cheeses from goat´s milk, sheep´s milk and a blend of goat, sheep and cow´s milk.
Cheese preparation has grown from being a completely craft-oriented activity to adapt and incorporate the latest technological advances that help to retain the traditional flavour and to ensure a healthy product of high quality.
